Special Religious Education (SRE) classes will resume in week 4 of term 1, 2019. As has been the custom at Lyndhurst Public School, the SRE teacher provides a combined arrangement, teaching joint-denominational religious education. The SRE teacher is authorised by the Catholic Diocese of Bathurst and will deliver a joint curriculum which can be viewed on https://cepconnect.com.au/curriculum
Classes will be held on Fridays between 11.30 and 12.00. Students who do not attend SRE will participate in general revision activities in literacy and numeracy.
All parents have been asked to indicate whether they would like their children to attend SRE classes. If you change your mind at any time during the year, please contact the school and arrangements will be made for your child to participate in the alternative activities.
