The principal is responsible for the educational leadership and management of our school. If you would like to speak to the principal, please contact us to make an appointment.

Our school administrative staff can answer inquiries or direct you to the appropriate staff member for help.

Principal

Christine Kovac

Mrs Kovac joined Lyndhurst PS at the beginning of Term 3, 2019. She has over 20 years of experience in a vast range of educational leadership and teaching roles. Most recently Mrs Kovac was a relieving deputy principal at the Anson Street School. She is enjoying working in partnership with all of our beautiful students, their families, and the wider community to provide an education that will support all of our students well into the future. Mrs Kovac has three daughters, one grandson, and lots of goats. She even has a yurt!

Teachers

Amy Hawken

Mrs Hawken has been at Lyndhurst PS since 2014 and is currently our K-2 teacher. She has three little boys at home. She loves to spend time with her family and help to look after their pet rabbit.

Sharon Stanley

Mrs Stanley has been working part-time at Lyndhurst PS for many years. She is currently teaching at LPS 2 days per week and provides the relief from face-to-face teaching for our principal. She really enjoys being able to work with all of the children on their learning, art, sport, and music skills. Mrs Stanley has two grown up children and loves to sing and teach adult choirs in her spare time.

School Administrative Manager

Genevieve Wilby

Mrs Wilby is our school Administration Manager. She loves learning new things and being the welcoming face at our front desk. Mrs Wilby is there to help the children, teachers and parents have a great day! She has two grown up children and loves to cook, make quilts and sing in her spare time.
